In the past I have been quick to point out short comings of my experiences with the service department. My last conversation with Mike assured me he was aware of the issues and was attempting to correct them. I must admit that the changes I saw during last week’s appointment were astounding. The entire process was so different I was amazed. From check in to check out, everything was handled with the utmost professionalism. Thanks to Bob Erickson and Tariq Mohammed for the exceptional way they took care of me. I am a long time customer of A1 Toyota. The late Paul Evans was my salesman. I moved to Florida and came to Ct. to visit family. On the drive there I heard noises in the steering. I came to A-1 without an appointment and although they had my car for 2 days I was provided with a rental and my car was serviced and A-1 picked up all the charges. I am very thankful and although I have moved to Florida, when my lease is up I will more than likely come back to start a lease just because of the customer care I received. Fabulous! My three-year-old was able to play in the glass-enclosed play area while we negotiated and filled out paperwork, so we could keep an eye on him while we bought a new car. The play area is thoughtfully put together and my son didn’t want to leave it.

Mr. Dadic is an absolute gentlemen and he made the experience of buying a new car a pleasure. My wife and I are very happy with our purchase and with the professional manner in which we were treated. If the follow up service is as good as this we will be back to buy a 2nd new car in the next year or two.
Mr. Dadic again was very polite and through. He said if we have any issues he would be happy to have us come and ask questions. I think the offer of free car washes for 30 days and the invitation to come on October 21st for the question and answer along with free lunch is a very friendly means of getting people to come and know what services you offer and is a great idea and something I do not think other dealerships do for their customers.

As I am still learning this new vehicle and the new features I feel totally comfortable returning to ask questions that I have totally not figured out. I never have a problem making a service appointment at A-1. They are most accommodating. Kenny has been assisting me for many years. He is most knowledgeable and always gives me a accurate diagnosis of my vehicle needs. My feeling about Kenny is that he always shows concern for both my vehicle and myself. When I call him I always receive a prompt return call and when ever he promises me when the vehicle will be ready it always is. Hadim was truly helpful and knowledgeable. He made the purchase of my Rav 4 a very comfortable experience. I was able to say goodbye to my aged vehicle and slide into my new Rav 4 in the heated comfort of the A-1 Toyota delivery bay. The sales person Hadim went over all the controls and features of my new Rav 4 and answered all my questions. Very pleasant experience. Very roomy, homey, and comfortable. I had a 60,000 tune up at a local mechanic. I spent a lot of money. My car seemed to never run right after that. I didn’t trust him after that and didn’t want to go back. I used to go to my Toyota dealer in Avon, Ct. prior to this local mechanic. I really liked them but it was an hour drive. I decided to go to A-1 since they were closer. I had an oil change and they had to replace the oil pan, (apparently local mechanic stripped cap and ruined it). I know it was just a simple oil change (besides replacing pan), but my RAV4 seems to run so smoothly now. I am happy with the work done at A-1. The waiting area was beautiful. A lot of comfy sofas and a fireplace. I have never seen such a nice waiting area. I joked with a friend after I left that I would go to just hang out there even if I wasn’t having my car repaired.

Service director mike Q went above and beyond once again. My battery had died while I was out of town. He sent someone to my home, jumped the car, took it to the shop installed new battery and checked out all systems before returning it to my home. It was up and running before I got home. Don’t know of many who provide such great customer care in this state. That’s true customer service!

Fariz and the A-1 staff that assisted me, were very clear and never made me wait for anything. Everything was explained perfectly and handled swiftly. We drove the car off the lot within hours of deciding. It was presented to us as absolutely clean and with a full tank of gas. We’ve been to the show rooms of several dealers in the new haven area–A-1 provides the most comfortable and spacious and stress free environment of all.

When speaking with John Durani he helped me to decide whether I should lease my vehicle or purchase it outright. I feel like he has my best interests in mind. I never feel pressured to make a decision that isn’t my own.

Ken is great, he checks on everything needed as listed and always checks to see if anything additional is needed. Ken makes you comfortable each time you visit. I can’t say enough about Andrew. He was awesome and the experience was quick and yet informative. I hadn’t expected to go in and buy a car in the same day. But he was great and the whole experience was super fast. I was shocked. On the day that I went to pick up the car he came in (even though it was his day off). He sat with me paired my phone, helped me enter info to get everything hooked up with the apps and working on the car. So nice and took his time to explain everything. Who does that these days? Such a great experience. Holy cow I was offered water, coffee etc. I met some of the service people (even though I go there) but they were tinting the windows. Very nice. He represented very clearly the quality of the Toyota brand and the features of my particular choice of car, the Rav 4. I had done the usual research on the internet about the car I wanted. The staff at A-1 Toyota were professional and thorough in explaining the range of available models and options, without pressuring me in any way. Likewise, all the standard additional charges (taxes, registration, fees) were well laid out and clear at every step.
Carlos Orozco, the business manager, was the person who helped me complete the final paperwork. He was kind, well-humored, crisp, and professional, without rushing the process or overlooking any details or questions I raised. It was a miraculously clear process, considering all the details. Again, an altogether positive experience.
Beautiful car, clean car, all ready for me when I was finished with the business side of things. Paul Evans sat with me and explained the various features, and set up the electronics as I wished.
A-1 has the best customer-service relations I’ve ever encountered in a dealership and service facility. My old car had been totaled in an accident and I was under some pressure to choose a car. It was February and I had concerns about any car in driving in the snow. We went on a excellent test drive with the ground covered in spots in snow and with potholes. The car performed excellently. I also looked at Hondas and Mazdas as my old car was a Honda Accord. I did not want such a big car as my needs had changed. The Corolla was perfect. It was modern and had enough technology that was understandable to use. I have had it for a month and no complaints. I bought the Premium model with bells and whistles. Easy negotiation. I was not pressured or pressuring. I might have gotten a few dollars less cost had I gone through an elaborate process of going online and finding cheaper dealers less cost but I liked the staff I dealt with and the A-!dealership seems honest. Mr Dudic took time to test car with me and the financial person was excellent in the paperwork part. Mr D. went over some of the technology on the dashboard a few times til I was clear about it and comfortable driving.

Mustafa was an excellent help from the beginning of the process when we walked in the door, through the approval process and until we drove off of the lot. He was personable, explained everything well and was attentive to our requests about vehicle color, style, etc.
At A-1 Toyota there isn’t really a negotiation process, but we were made very aware of our options. We were able to select a vehicle that fit our needs, wants and abilities to lease. Both Angel and Mustafa were excellent in answering all of our questions and ensuring that we were happy with our purchase.
Honestly, it was at the end of a long day and I was ready to go home. Mustafa was great in being timely and thorough at the same time. He also followed up a few days later just to check on our satisfaction with the vehicle and to see whether we had any questions or concerns.

My service rep. (Tony Horan) did a fantastic job. As soon as I pulled my car into the service area, he came out, greeted me professionally and was very friendly. He knew I was pressed for time, and since I requested to rent a car vs. waiting, he called over to the rental desk to make sure my rental car was ready for me. Tony explained everything that was going to be done to my car and he personally called me once my car was ready a few hours later.
Even though my car is still practically like new, I feel that when I get my car back, I can tell its running as good as the day I picked it up. A1 toyota performs a multi point safety inspection, which they go over with me, that shows they take the time to check every important area of my car. That in itself is quality work in my book.
I always get in and out of the cashier desk fast and with a SMILE. The woman at the desk has been there as long as I have been a customer at A1. She is very friendly and knows my time is valuable. She even calls for a vallet to bring my car around and have it ready with the A/C running. Its always a pleasure seeing her there.
The service facilities are top notch at A1 Toyota. I have never been to a nicer facility to this day. Besides the buying experience, I would say that the service facility is very important to me. Thats why I tell all my friends and family about A1 Toyota and if they are thinking about buying a toyota, that they should buy from them.
